Apply these 3 simple Tips to create trust factor immediately

Look, you're an expert, a specialist. The most knowledgeable person in your field, right? You put great content out there, providing MASSIVE VALUE and GOLDEN NUGGETS. Yet, you don't come across like this expert or specialist. You are not getting that engagement you want... you get a measly 10 likes or comments. You feel like you are missing something... And maybe you actually are. You are missing an important element, which is actually one of the most important things you should mind. And thats:

Your Profile Picture, or Headshot.

It's the initial point of contact. Based on that, people decide if they go to your profile, or leave. As you might already know by now [ at least I HOPE YOU DO ] :

People do business with people they KNOW, LIKE AND TRUST.

So if you want establish authority and expertise the right way.. Read on.. These easy and practical tips help you to create a powerful and confident headshot. And you can do that just with your Smartphone. After all, you only have one chance to make a first impression.

TIP 1 - GEAR

Firstly, make sure it's best to use the rear cam, and always set the camera to highest image resolution. When taking a headshot yourself, there are several options. If you have nobody available and take the pictures yourself, place it on a stable underground. The best option is a tripod to have a solid base. Put the self-timer on (this reduces unwanted vibration) and select a multiple picture sequence. If you don't have a solid ground or tripod. Use the Selfie cam. Be aware, that the selfie cam is the 2nd best option to go with. If you have somebody to take the headshot, that?s also perfectly fine too. Always make sure to focus on the eyes. People connect through the eyes.

TIP 2 - BACKGROUND

Use a solid background like a white or a black wall. No patterns, or distractions, nice and clean. If you don?t have a solid wall available, take a white or black sheet and tape it onto the wall behind you. To avoid shadows, make sure there is some distance between you and the background. Nature background does well too. If you do that, make sure that there's no distractions or too much noise in the background. You have to be the center of attention. You have to be grabbing the attention. So make sure to have the background blurred, and you clear and in focus. Blurring can be done in most portrait modes, or else afterwards in your phone with focus/blur function. Be aware to not make it look artificial blur. Natural and subtle.

TIP 3 - POSE

Best poses would be face straight into the camera or turn one shoulder a bit towards the camera, so that you create a triangle. Turn your head straight to the camera. Pull it slightly towards the camera.. I know, that might sound odd, but thank me later, It brings out the jawline and avoids double chins lol ;-) Stand straight and avoid crossing arms, because you create a closed impression. People may find you less friendly and hard to approach. So.. these are 3 simple tips on how to make your own profile picture. Let me know if this is of any help to you.
